Certification to Degree (C2D)

Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Training

Participants will be trained in non-destructive testing using ultrasound.

Training consists of a five-week online course (August 3 - 30, 2026) followed by a one-week in-person workshop at New Mexico State University (August 31 - September 4, 2026, Las Cruces campus).

$1,000 stipend and a certificate upon successful completion of the training.

The program is paid for by the Department of Defense. Participation in research is voluntary.

Training is limited to US citizens only at this time (funding agency requirement)

About C2D Consortium

Manufacturing Certification to Degree (C2D) Consortium is a partnership between Arizona State University, New Mexico State University, and Navajo Technical University. The consortium aims to create new career paths for local community members to join advanced manufacturing and non-destructive evaluation workforce. The program seeks to involve students from underrepresented communities and military veterans.
